About Richard Healy

Hi, I’m Richard Healy and thank you for checking us out. I am pastor of The Connection Church of Arlington. I hope you enjoy your visit with us and I hope you will learn a little of who we are and what we are about.

After more than thirty years of fruitful and enjoyable affiliation with a large main stream organization God asked me to take another look at ministry, this time outside the structure of the organized church. With a small handfull of faithful friends and relatives meeting together to pray and believe God - Connection Church was conceived. It has already proven to be a journey filled with joy and freedom.

So that you may know me a little better, I am married, have four children, and ten grandchildren. I enjoy book collecting, writing, playing the guitar, anything to do with my grandkids, and a mexican restuarant called “El Chicos.” My favorite authors include John Bevere, Arthur Pink, Ron Mehl, and Herbert Lockyer. I enjoy music by Carrie Underwood, Mercy me, and the mellow voice of Harry Connick Jr.

My goal in life is to help, within my reach, every man, woman, and child find and experience the Father’s love through his son Jesus. My hope is for everyone who is searching for fullness of life in the Spirit, to find God’s Holy Spirit without measure. My deepest and most sincere prayer is for the lost, the disillusioned, and those who have somewhere along life’s journey lost hope, discover and accept the love of Christ and live in the security of our Father’s care.

    Richard,
It was great to be with you folks again this past Sunday. This is the the enviornment I grew up in as a youngster. My Uncles would preach and mom played the piano and organ. The music was a lot different then.
I am so blessed when I come to church and listen to you and Fernando.
May the Lord continue to bless you both as well as the Connection Church.

    John
